Alluding to both punishment and purification, this installation burns the artist's menstrual blood mixed with sandal wood incense powder to leave a stigmata-like trace on the installation floor. This piece references the artist's experience of being stigmatized as the granddaughter of a Korean shaman, while simultaneously transforming it into a ritual that cleanses the imposed negativity.
